Hilditch & Son was a pottery manufacturer based in Lane End, North Staffordshire, England, operating from around 1822 to 1830. They produced a variety of earthenware and porcelain items, often featuring intricate designs and patterns. Many of their pieces are known for their Chinoiserie themes, which include oriental-inspired motifs and scenes. This feather pattern set is very rare and was produced in 1822.
A rare set which is one of only two that the maker used the pattern as the backstamp mark.

Condition. There is age related crazing to half of the pieces and some minor gilt wear overall to all. Condition on the lot is very good for the age. Inspection found that one teacup has a faint hairline to the base. Two saucers have hairline to the centre, and another has hairline on the rim.
There are two extra / spare saucers one has gilt rim wear other has numerous rim hairlines.
No other notable chips cracks or restoration.
