Bio;

Minton was a prestigious English ceramics manufacturer founded in 1793 by Thomas Minton in Stoke-upon-Trent, England. It became one of the leading pottery firms of the Victorian era, producing fine bone china, Parian ware, encaustic tiles, and majolica.

Under Herbert Minton, the company expanded its artistic influence, collaborating with designers like A.W.N. Pugin and Christopher Dresser. Minton was known for its intricate porcelain figurines, including Parian sculptures, which were highly sought after by collectors.

The company remained independent until 1968, when it merged with Royal Doulton. Although production ceased in 2005, Minton pieces remain highly collectible today.
