1930s Antique Art Deco by Rosice Czech Amber Glass Bowl Leaping Fish
Rosice Glass is a type of Czech glass produced by the Rosice Glass Factory in Rosice u Brna, Moravia, Czech Republic. The factory was founded in 1920, but it went through several periods of closure and revival before finally becoming part of the Sklo Union group in 1965. Production continued until 1996.
Rosice Glass is known for its high-quality craftsmanship and beautiful designs, often featuring intricate patterns and vibrant colors. Some of the notable designers who worked at the Rosice factory include Jiri Brabec, Rudolf Jurnikl, Jan Schmid, Vladislav Urban, Frantisek Vizner, and Rudolf Schrotter.
The leaping fish bowl is from c1930. Measures 7 & 7/8" or 20cm diameter. 2 & 3/8" or 6cm height.
Condition; Good lightly used with no chips cracks or repairs. There are some surface marks commensurate with the age.
