19thc Antique Chamois Hoof & Horn Fountain Dip Ink Pen Alps Mountain Goat

Chamois horn pens are a fascinating piece of history and craftsmanship. 

Dating back to the 19th and early 20th centuries, these pens were often handmade and showcased intricate carvings and designs. 

The horns were sourced from chamois, a type of mountain goat native to Europe.

This piece has a  R Esterbrook 314 dip nib. 

Measures 7 & 1/2" or 19cm length

Inspection found the item is in good antique condition. There is a small split to the nib holder but the nib sits tight in the holder.
