18thc Antique Sevres French Porcelain Butter Dish Dated 1791 by Ereaux L'aine

Antique Sevres butter dish from 1791 designed by Ereaux L,aine is a beautiful example of Neoclassical porcelain. Ereaux was a talented artist at the Sevres porcelain manufactory.

Key Features:

• Design: The butter dish often features intricate polychrome painting and gilded details, reflecting the opulence of the Neoclassical style.

• Shape: The dish has a round shape with a lid, and the sides are adorned with illustrative bouquets of flowers. It is attached to a dish 

• Material: Made from high-quality hard-paste porcelain, which was developed by the Sevres factory in the late 18th century.

• Measures 7 & 3/4" or 19.5cm diameter 

• 3 & 1/4" or 8.3cm height 

• 540gm 

Condition~ Inspection found the piece in very good condition with small signs of use. There is a small scratch going through one of the enamel roses on the top of the lid. There is some small losses to the gold gilt on rim areas. The rim has a very tiny restored rim chip which can be inspected in image that has a pointer. 

Overall otherwise this is a remarkable fine quality butter dish which has no other chips cracks or restoration.
