A very fine porcelain enamel jewelled demitasse cup and saucer by Doulton Burslem c1891~1902.
This is a rare set with lavish gold gilt embellishment and intricate floral patterns.
Condition inspection found the cup has a flea bite chip to the foot corner over painted with gilt. There is a short hairline to the interior where the porcelain folds which does not go through to the exterior. The cup and saucer both have age related crazing to the glaze. These details have been shown in images.
