Antique Staffordshire figurine made in England c1820. Measures 7 & 3/4" or 19cm in height.
This Staffordshire figurine is a charming example of early 19th-century pottery. Created around 1820, it depicts a tender scene of village folk engaged in a playing musical instruments, referred to as "Past Time" from a group of figurines titled rural .
Attributed to the maker Dudson.
This figurine is made of pearlware and decorated with vibrant enamel colors and bocage (leafy) details. It is mounted on a square base and showcases the whimsical artistry of Staffordshire potters.
Condition inspection found restoration to both musician arms, losses the flower petals on the brocade, otherwise it is good and displays beautifully.
