A beautiful Sevres demitasse coffee cup with P monogram and floating crown garland. It has cobalt theme with hand decorated intricate gold gilded patterned border.
Made in France mid to late 19thc period.
The base is marked with gold makers mark and has inscribed D and C and what looks like a D.
Crowned Initials: The crowned "P" could represent a royal or princely monogram, possibly linked to a specific patron or noble house. In Sèvres tradition, crowned letters were sometimes used to denote pieces made for royalty or high-ranking officials.
Condition~ Inspection found no chips cracks or restoration. There is some small losses to gilt on the gold bands and small surface scratches around the P monogram.
