Christopher Gifford Ambler was a talented English illustrator and artist known for his charming watercolour paintings, often featuring animals. He studied at Leeds College of Art and later designed pottery for a local Leeds company. His works, including watercolours, pen and ink drawings, and lithographs, have been featured in various auctions and galleries
This is not a reproduction or print. We are not sure if Ambler is the author of the poem. Poem is initialled N. G. A.. It is a beautifully written description about a fox escaping the hunt. The artwork is signed. The piece is in excellent condition protected historically under glass and in wooden frame. The piece is framed and has therefore been well protected.
