Vase Frantisek Urban Czech Green Glass Orinoko Pattern Barovier & Toso

A rare green bohemian vase by Frantisek Urban made for Italian Barovier & Toso based in Murano. 

It measures 11 & 3/4" or 30cm and 3 & 3/8" or 8.5cm. Condition is excellent with no chips cracks or restoration. 

Bio;The Orinoko Pattern by Frantisek Urban is a distinctive Bohemian Art Glass (B.A.G.) design originating from the Czech Republic. This pattern is known for its iridescent glass threads, which create a striking visual effect by appearing lighter and darker depending on the angle of light.

Urban, a Czech glass artist, crafted this pattern for Barovier & Toso Italy. 

The Orinoko pieces are coloured glass with heavy silver iridescent threading, giving them a shimmering, modern aesthetic. These vases were typically mouth-blown, ensuring unique variations in each piece.
