A Bronze Oil Lamp formed as a Krishna Mandir Temple, inspired by the grandeur of ancient Hindu temples. Its magnificent design mirrors that of the renowned 1637 Krishna temple in Patan, Nepal. Intricately adorned with crouching monkey figures on the corners, four delicate leaf-shaped trays holding wicks with detailed depictions of the revered Ganesha, and two majestic guardian lions, this lamp truly exudes opulence. Adding to its charm are the nine dangling leaf-shaped lappet pendants, suspended from the base of the temple.

Bio;

The Krishna Mandir Temple in Patan, Nepal, was built in 1637 and is a stunning example of Shikhara-style architecture. This hanging oil lamp, shaped like a miniature version of the temple, reflects the deep connection between Nepalese religious art and architectural symbolism.

The lamp was likely used in Hindu rituals, with its four oil trays, pendants, chains, and small decorative birds and animals enhancing its intricate design. Such objects were crafted with brass casting techniques, ensuring durability while maintaining artistic elegance
