Antique Needlework 18thc Sampler Alphabet Linen & Silk Colour c1790

An antique needlepoint sampler that has finely applied silk thread needlework on linen detailed alphabet. 

The piece dates around 1790 and was acquired with another that is marked with the date by a seamstress called Margaret Hill. 

The condition of the sampler is good. See images of the item which show it clearly removed from the protective frame and all angles. 

Measures 6 & 1/4" or 17cm height, 4" or 10cm width 

Frame 10 & 1/4" or 26cm height, 8 & 1/4" or 21cm width
