Royal Vienna Porcelain refers to the exquisite porcelain produced by the Imperial and Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Vienna. Founded in 1718 by Claudius Innocentius du Paquier, it was the second oldest porcelain factory in Europe after Meissen. In 1744, Empress Maria Theresa took over the factory, and it became an imperial asset.
Royal Vienna porcelain is known for its high-quality craftsmanship and beautiful designs, often featuring intricate floral patterns, classical motifs, and gilded details. The factory operated until 1864, and its pieces are highly prized by collectors today.
