Antique 19thc needlework sympathy tribute embroidered in wool over silk thread on cotton. The piece is unfinished which exposes the beautiful under template which is done with very fine thread.
The piece is very well preserved and condition is inspected and found to be good overall. There are some small marks and perish to minor areas which have been shown clearly in images provided.

10 & 1/2" or 77cm width
Frame 17 & 1/2" or 44.5cm height
14 & 1/2" or 37cm width
The verse reads;
