Johann Friedrich Ernst Teichert was a notable figure in the ceramics industry. He was the brother of Carl Teichert and initially worked as a foreman in his brother's ceramics factor. In 1869, Ernst established his own tile stove factory in Cölln near Meissen. Later, in 1884, he founded a porcelain factory in the same area. Unfortunately, he passed away just two years later, and his son, Christian Teichert, took over the business.
This bowl is c1900.
