A 19thc set of tea ware which includes 10 trios, 2 cake plates and slop bowl. There are 38 pieces in the lot. condition overall is good. The pink colour has varies in shade as there is some fading to the set. All pieces have been gilt with gold, moulded to look like leaves on the body and twig handles. There are not any makers marks on the pieces but this is a disctinctive shape produced by Aynsley in the 1800s.

It displays beautifully as a set. Each item has been inspected and a few bits have tiny hairlines, foot rim rough areas or fleabites which could be from the kiln and original manufacture glaze marks and bits of kiln dust typical of antique authenticity. We have reported all findings as follows:

10 cups ; All have some variation in shade of pink. some are very pale others are darker. There are some odd paint marks from manufacture under glaze on the bowls, and discolour to the white in areas.

Cups 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 have no damage but small losses in protruding areas of gilt.

Cup 7 has tiny hairline to foot rim.

Cup 8 has two small hairlines on rim, very small fleabite sized nips to the foot which could be from kiln or use.
