The shape is very much of the late 1700s, with an earthenware pottery form but the colour of transfer indicates a later manufacture date. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe piece is very good condition. Inspection found just one very small graze on the body of the spout. There is a small area of historic restoration to the rim of the pot above the handle and to the underside of the lid rim. There are small surface scratches which are commensurate with age. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pear shape body is decorated with a transfer scene showing female with children and animals on both sides. There are pink lustre foliage sprigs and rim details.
